Arc Raiders is a 2025 smash, but the wilderness above Speranza has a lot to teach.
Arc Raiders has been a lot of fun so far. Extraction shooters are not my thing and I had no interest in the Server Slam pre-release. The tight 30-minute surface raids combined with the ongoing missions really clicked with my. I am so glad that I gave it a try. There's so much to learn in Arc Raiders, and I've slowly been learning it over time. I would have liked to know more from the get-go.
As there were so many options and menus, I felt a little overwhelmed at first. You can get a quick overview of what you should expect by reading these arc raiders trading tips. It's important to note that you begin a raid by choosing a locati0n on the map and then selecting your loadout. It was terrifying to think that if you didn't make it out of the raid, you would lose your entire inventory barring one slot (the Safe Pocket). Arc Raiders offers a "free loadout" that sends you on a mission with low-level, disposable items. This is a good option for exploring new areas, or trying quick missions.
You can find many useful items while exploring the terrain. When I first started, I didn't know what to do with all the metal crates. I then discovered that Arc Raiders field stations have special machines to extract supplies from crates. There are also a few Supply Call Stations that you will find scattered about. They can be found on your map. By interacting with these stations, you'll call in Arc Raiders drop supplies.
While I've spent a lot of money on the Conditioning branch in order to improve my looting skills, you may discover that your best Arc Raiders skill lies elsewhere. I have also begun to collect a small collection of guns. However, the higher tiers on the best Arc Raiders weapon list are much harder to obtain. The blueprints for Arc Raiders I picked up on my travels went straight into my Safe Pocket. I'll be able make my weapons and items at Speranza once my workbenches reach a certain level.
The majority of my time spent exploring the surface was spent digging through containers to find treasures. However, it took me a little while to understand the true value of some items. When I got back to Speranza, i'd go through all my stuff and recycle or sell everything I didn't use immediately.
It's easy to sell or craft items like arc raiders coins, or Rusted Gears. But sooner or later I'm going to need them for certain assignments. I regret not keeping these humble items. I've always checked my loot against the Arc Raiders cheat sheet since I learned this. I check to see if I can use any of these items in the future, or if I should just throw them out. It's worth investing in expanding your base stash so you have more items to keep until you need them.
It was difficult to keep Scrappy The Rooster happy, as I needed to quickly level him up to aid in my general loot-collecting. I was unable to find Arc Raiders Apricots in Buried city. Instead, I had to run around the park and hit trees while avoiding incoming blasts of patrolling enemies. Scrappy has a particular appetite, so I have been stockpiling Prickly Pears as well as Mushrooms in preparation for future upgrades.
